Tobias Whale is a villain appearing in Beware The Batman. He debuted in the episode Broken.
Biography[]
Tobias Whale worked his way up the ranks of the underworld to eventually become one of the most feared Crimelords in Gotham 's organized crime world. He and Jim Gordon of the GCPD are engaged in an ongoing war. Aside from Gordon and Batman, Whale has a dangerous enemy in the form of Humpty Dumpty. Once a brilliant accountant in Whale's employ, Humpty went mad after an attempt on his life orchestrated by Whale. Whale has made several attempts on Gordon's life and that of those he cares about, but has been thwarted each time by the efforts of both Batman and Gordon.
Appearance[]
Tobias is an African American albino. Often called "The Great White Whale" behind his back, he weighs close to 400 lbs. However, most of his considerable bulk is muscle. He speaks in a very low, slow tone and is extremely hard to surprise or intimidate. Whale is a vicious hand-to-hand combatant and uses his size and strength to great advantage. He dresses in expensive white suits with a black shirt underneath and black pants. He wears gold chains, large gold ear rings, and gold grills over his teeth. He sports a scar over his left eye and lines down his chin reminiscent of a whale's ENEMIES Black Lightning and Batman
